BA Program Outcome (3 years Degree Course)

The institution offers one program-Bachelor of Arts (B.A). The programme outcomes are achieved through curriculum that offers number of courses. Arts stream plays significant role in the current educational system in building the career of the students. The course gives the basic and advanced knowledge pertaining to the subjects they opt for and the compulsory papers for each semester gives the students the wider knowledge about various concepts. The B.A. programme comprises of the popular subjects like Economics, Education, History and Political Science. It also includes the mandatory subjects likes English, Assamese, communication skills. After completion of the programme:

1. The students will be acquainted with the social, economic, historical, geographical, political, ideological and philosophical tradition and thinking.

2. The programme enables the students to acquire knowledge with human values framing the base to deal with various problems in life with courage and humanity.

3. The students will be able to think and act over for the solution of various issues prevailed in the human life to make this would better than ever

4. It provides the base to be a responsible citizen.

5. The student acquires knowledge in the field of social sciences, literature and humanities which make them sensitive and sensible enough.

6. The student who want to take up the career like Civil Service, Law, Teaching, Masters and to Journalism opt for Arts stream and also fetch their career in -various Govt. sectors,

7. Most of our competitive exams, national and state level such as TET, NET, SLET, IAS are based on current events and are in the mode of multiple choice questions, so student can be benefitted to acquire the knowledge and shape their career by taking up their programme.

8. It is also helpful to take up entrance examination. B.A graduate can pursue B. Ed course and opt teaching career. They can also do post graduate studies and pursue M. Phil, Ph. D and take teaching career in colleges.

9. The students could learn to analyze and critically reflect a complex problem incorporating multiple perspectives and innovative thinking.

10. The students could gain detailed knowledge in one or more disciplines and integrate knowledge and perspectives across disciplinary boundaries and co-ordinate themselves with the norms of the society.
